Hari - 3years old

It all started last year during Christmas 2012 I was concerned something is not right about hari, which I find hard to explain to anyone including Prashanth.
First step - We asked pediatrician during Feb 2013 and raised our concern about Hari  not talking/playing with other children and cranky every morning. They recommended a service called "Child Find".
Second Step- Child Find evaluated hari  all through summer and said Hari is  mostly having Autism Spectrum Disorder. For us we  dont know what I am hearing is true or not  and at the same time I dont know the impact of it in his life ,our life and what it means - My mind started thinking -Is it a disease/disability.
They addded "He is eligible for Special Education and they can help him . Hari is going to Special preschool to improve his Speech and Social Skill.

To all our Friends it means -
Hari is not able to communicate/Talk to others,Play with others.

You can learn more about it

Third Step:How to help Hari?
Now we are in the phase of learning how to help Hari. One of our friends introduced us to a parent who has 12 years of experience with Autism world through their kid.

It is group effort of  below specialists
1. Developemnetal Pediatrician/Neurologist - To track his development going forward,
2. Bio-medical Doctor - Check his other triggers/deficiancies he might have and to treat it.
3. Gluten Free-Casein Free-Soy Free diet - Special diet to avoid further complications.
4. Therapy - Speech,Occupational,Physical Therapies  - To speak and strengthen him.
5. ABA therapy - Like teaching him to communicate and learn.

We are in the process of getting appointment for initial Consultation -all of the above specialists.

Fourth Step:How long will it take to cure Hari / When will he talk?
I was asked this question from many of dear ones with right intention and the answer is I don't know
Honestly no one knows the answer. I have asked every single mother/doctor/therapist this million dollar question. What we know is Our child  is not able to talk and we are helping him in the best possible way we think is right and safe for our Hari. We will try to help him as long as it takes and as long as we can.
